Direct Cremation & Memorial Service
A Memorial Service is a farewell without a coffin. The ashes or a photo of the guest of honour is usually brought, but it’s not compulsory. Having a Memorial Service increases the range of venues to have the celebration. We suggest the guest of honours favourite place. Home, the beach, a park, surf club, sports facility- the location should reflect the personality of the guest of honour. A professional celebrant can then guide you and your guests through a personalised service.

As the name suggests we specialise in cremations with non-traditional memorial services at a venue appropriate for the guest of honour.
We started this business after spending many years working in traditional funerals. Stuffy chapels and a genuine lack of flexibilty about how farewells could be run.
Many families choose to celebrate at home or the beach, a park, sports club, a favourite resturant or pub.
Many families choose to celebrate on the weekends, or sunrise, or sunset.
If the guest of honour never stepped foot inside a church or chapel (unless they had to) why would you have their farewell there?
